Description
These materials were designed for Community Health Workers, including Peer Specialists and Peer Recovery Coaches, but can be utilized by anyone providing one-on-one educational services with adults who are starting or thinking about starting their oral health recovery journey. Developed in partnership with the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry and Depression Center, the flip charts, handouts, and videos included in this curriculum are educational and are meant to inspire hope in clients going through recovery.
Organizations may bill Medicaid for the education they provide as part of this implementation. Medicaid waiver dollars may also be used towards purchasing kits!
